ARTIST STATEMENT

I have been creating jewelry since 2001 and have a special passion for metalsmithing. I “retired” from being a lawyer to spend more time at home with my young children and I began making jewelry as a hobby. Having a creative mind and an obsessive personality, my hobby quickly became a business and I have worked with a wide variety of materials and mediums, including recycled and upcycled materials.
In 2010, Red Daisy Studio was featured on a national specialty retailer website and one of my necklaces was on the cover of the 2009-2010 Philadelphia Eagles Swimsuit Calendar. Needless to say, I've been busy and I love it! I am always looking for a new challenge or adventure.
